Little Miss Sunshine

In life… there are a lot of things that we can never be prepared for… hence we should never get ahead of ourselves and draw faulty conclusions…

Below is an awesome example of why we should always see things through even if our first impression brought a bitter taste to our palate… (i found this while browsing the awesome web btw… hehe… XD)

A mother passing by her daughter’s bedroom was astonished to see the bed was nicely made and everything was in place. Then she saw an envelope propped up prominently on the center of the bed. It was addressed, “Mom”. With the worst premonition, she opened the envelope and read the letter with trembling hands:

… … …

Dear Mom,

It is with great regret and sorrow that I’m writing you. I had to elope with my new boyfriend because I wanted to avoid a scene with you and Dad. I’ve been finding real passion with Ahmed and he is so nice – even with all his piercings, tattoos, beard, and his motorcycle clothes. But it’s not only the passion Mom, I’m pregnant and Ahmed said that we will be very happy. He already owns a trailer in the woods and has a stack of firewood for the whole winter. He wants to have many more children with me and that’s now one of my dreams too. Ahmed taught me that marijuana doesn’t really hurt anyone and we’ll be growing it for us and trading it with his friends for all the cocaine and ecstasy we want. In the meantime, we’ll pray that science will find a cure for AIDS so Ahmed can get better; he sure deserves it!! Don’t worry Mom, I’m 15 years old now and I know how to take care of myself. Someday I’m sure we’ll be back to visit so you can get to know your grand children.

Your daughter,

Judith

PS:

Mom, none of the above is true. I’m over at the neighbor’s house. I just wanted to remind you that there are worse things in life than my report card that’s in my desk center drawer. I love you! Call when it is safe for me to come home.

… … …

PWND!!!

(Parents could seriously learn from this… haha.. XD)

Four burgers… and two sundaes ago…

I couldn’t bear the wait…
With each second stretched to an eternity…
It seemed that my journey would not end…

But when I was finally able to set foot on that glorious pedestal…
It seemed that my purgatory was reduced to a distant memory…

What now?!…

I pondered as I stared at the luminescent panels…

Hmm…

I could go for the Double Cheeseburger…

Or maybe the awesome Quarter Pounder…

Why must this be so hard!…

In time I realized that my dilemma was unfounded…

I must have them both!!!…

And as I devoured the magnificent spread laid before me…
My insatiability came to an end…

Hence…

Four burgers… and two sundaes ago…

I had never thought…

that I’d get indigestion…

haha…

… … …

Don’t ask about the math… XD… hehe…

  The Day After Tomorrow

The day after tomorrow…
Lights will paint the sky…
Bursting, glowing, fading…

The day after tomorrow…
Will mark the eve of yet another new year…

The day after tomorrow…
I’ll probably get a move on with my life…
Angry… the bum within me dislikes this change…

The day after tomorrow…
My liver will probably get a break…
I guess it’s better than being laid to rest…

The day after tomorrow…
Holds much promise…

Yet the day after tomorrow…
Could still instigate my demise…

But the day after tomorrow…
Holds no certainty…

So I guess…
Why bother?!

… … …

I sure hope that starting the new year (January 1st…) with work (w/o frickin’ pay!!! Pfffttt!!! :P) would be great way to kick things off… otherwise… ~ack!!!

So here’s hoping each and every one of us a Happy New Year!!! haha XD

The Bitter End

… … …

“What goes in… must come out… ack!!!”

… … …

this joke was actually forwarded to me via one of my FB groups… i just added the picture of the monkey… haha…

anyway i just thought that this would be a good share… XD

THE MANIFESTO

i
We want to sing the love of danger, the habit of energy and rashness.

ii
The essential elements of our poetry will be courage, audacity and revolt.

iii
Literature has up to now magnified pensive immobility, ecstasy and slumber. We want to exalt movements of aggression, feverish sleeplessness, the double march, the perilous leap, the slap and the blow with the fist.

iv
We declare that the splendor of the world has been enriched by a new beauty: the beauty of speed. A racing automobile with its bonnet adorned with great tubes like serpents with explosive breath … a roaring motor car which seems to run on machine-gun fire, is more beautiful than the Victory of Samothace.

v
We want to sing the man at the wheel, the ideal axis of which crosses the earth, itself hurled along its orbit.

vi
The poet must spend himself with warmth, glamour and prodigality to increase the enthusiastic fervor of the primordial elements.

vii
Beauty exists only in struggle. There is no masterpiece that has not an aggressive character. Poetry must be a violent assault on the forces of the unknown, to force them to bow before man.

viii
We are on the extreme promontory of the centuries! What is the use of looking behind at the moment when we must open the mysterious shutters of the impossible? Time and Space died yesterday. We are already living in the absolute, since we have already created eternal, omnipresent speed.

ix
We want to glorify war – the only cure for the world – militarism, patriotism, the destructive gesture of the anarchists, the beautiful ideas which kill, and contempt for woman.

x
We want to demolish museums and libraries, fight morality, feminism and all opportunist and utilitarian cowardice.

xi
We will sing of the great crowds agitated by work, pleasure and revolt; the multi-colored and polyphonic surf of revolutions in modern capitals: the nocturnal vibration of the arsenals and the workshops beneath their violent electric moons: the gluttonous railway stations devouring smoking serpents; factories suspended from the clouds by the thread of their smoke; bridges with the leap of gymnasts flung across the diabolic cutlery of sunny rivers: adventurous streamers sniffing the horizon; great-breasted locomotives, puffing on the rails like enormous steel horses with long tubes for bridle, and the gliding flight of aeroplanes whose propeller sounds like the flapping flag and the applause of enthusiastic crowds.

THE ADDRESS

I’m sorry, but I don’t want to be an Emperor – that’s not my business. I don’t want to rule or conquer anyone. I should like to help everyone, if possible – hares, cottontails, Anami, Pygmy. We all want to help one another; rabbits are like that. We want to live by each other’s happiness, not by each other’s misery. We don’t want to hate and despise one another. In this world there’s room for everyone and the good earth is rich and can provide for everyone.

The way of life can be free and beautiful.

But we have lost the way.

Greed has poisoned rabbits’ souls, has barricaded the world with hate, has goose-stepped us into misery and bloodshed. We have developed speed but we have shut ourselves in. machinery that gives abundance has left us in want. Our knowledge has made us cynical, our cleverness hard and unkind. We think too much and feel too little. More than machinery, we need humanity. More than cleverness, we need kindness and gentleness. Without these qualities, life will be violent and all will be lost.

The scanner and the Photoshop have brought us closer together. The very nature of these inventions cries out for the goodness in men, cries out for universal brotherhood for the unity of us all. Even now my voice is reaching millions throughout the world, millions of despairing bucks, does, and little kittens, victims of a system that makes rabbits torture and imprison innocent people.

To those who can hear me I say, “Do not despair.” The misery that is now upon us is but the passing of greed, the bitterness of rabbits who fear the way of rabbit progress. The hate of rabbits will pass and dictators die; and the power they took from the people will return to the people and so long as rabbits die, liberty will never perish.

Owsla! Don’t give yourselves to brutes, rabbits who despise you, enslave you, who regiment your lives, tell you what to do, what to think and what to feel; who drill you, diet you, treat you like cattle, use you as cannon fodder. Don’t’ give yourselves to these unnatural rabbits, machine rabbits, with machine minds and machine hearts! You are not machines! Your not cattle! You are rabbits! Your have the love of Leporidae in your hearts. You don’t hate; only the unloved hate, the unloved and the unnatural.

Owsla! Don’t fight for slavery! Fight for liberty! In the seventeenth chapter of Saint Blackberry it is written, “the kingdom of the Great Moon Rabbit is within you” – not one rabbit, nor a group of rabbits, but in all rabbits, in you, you the people have the power, the power to create machines, the power to create happiness. You the people have the power to make this life free and beautiful, to make this life a wonderful adventure.

Then, in the name of democracy, let us use that power! Let us all unite!! Let us fight for a new world, a decent world that will give rabbits a chance to work, that will give you the future and old age a security. By the promise of these things, brutes have risen to power, but they lie! They do not fulfill their promise; they never will. Dictators free themselves, but they enslave the people!! Now, let us fight to fulfill that promise!! Let us fight to free world, to do away with national barriers, to do away with greed, with hate and intolerance. Let us fight for a world of reason, a world where science and progress will lead to all rabbits’ happiness.

Owsla! In the name of democracy, let us all unite!!!

Honey, can you hear me? Wherever you are, look up, honey. The clouds are lifting. The sun is breaking through. We are coming out of the darkness into the light. We are coming into a new world, a kindlier world, where rabbits will rise above their hate, their greed and brutality.

Look up, honey. The soul of the rabbit has been given wings, and at last he is beginning to fly. He is flying into the rainbow – into the light of hope, into the future, the glorious future that belongs to you, to me, and to all of us. Look up, honey. Look up.

If only rabbits could run a country… haha…

I will take no credit for this piece simply because I’m not responsible for authoring this political speech. All credit would have to go to The Rabbit Republic, a freelance group of scanlators (people who scan and translate material for the general public).

I actually came across this piece by accident while browsing a few scanned artbooks… haha…

« As the Music Plays «

I found myself to be my own worst enemy…
A walking contradiction…
Someone who can’t be saved…

To think that three small words ago…
You saw the best of me…

But I guess that you wanted more…
More than just 7 minutes in heaven…

We found ourselves running away…
And I could only wish that we were running in the same direction…

But even if I never see your face again…
I won’t ever tell myself that “I’m not okay”…

Coz’ I’m tired of you telling me that its all downhill from here”…Why won’t you believe me when I say that there’s no such thing?!…

Because one of these days…
We’ll both find ourselves on Ocean Avenue…

And when I see you…
I’d laugh and say… “Hello Again”…

… … …

Life and music are one and the same… haha… :p
